With over 16 years experience as a professional colorist,  Breten Bryden has been working with  map dealers and collectors around the world hand coloring their treasured antique maps, prints, and nautical charts.

Using only the finest grade watercolors, she duplicates authentic antique colors, or decides upon a customized color palette along with the client. She carefully assesses the type of delicate, antique paper and how it will react  to a water based paint, then transforms the mundane into the something striking (and sometimes much easier to sell).
